Installing on Linux
Installing CloudBees Jenkins X Distribution on Linux involves downloading of the latest archive, running a compatible program that will decompress the file, and moving the resulting binary program to a directory where users can execute the
jxbinary archive by downloading the latest version using your web browser or by command-line using
curland pipe (
|) the compressed archive to the
curl -L https://storage.googleapis.com/artifacts.jenkinsxio.appspot.com/binaries/cjxd/latest/jx-linux-amd64.tar.gz | tar xzv
jxbinary by moving it to a location in your executable path using the
sudo mv jx /usr/local/bin
